Verdant Landscaping
Shari Collins began her path by going back to school and earning her Associate of Science
Degree in Landscape Design and Planning from Pierce College in 1997. Shari is the owner,
General Manager and Landscape Designer. She holds a C-27 California Landscape
Contractors License and has over ten years of design and construction experience. She is
committed to keeping up to date on the newest products used in the landscape industry
through continued education, seminars and trade shows. She is currently president of the
local chapter of the California Landscape Contractor's Association which brings in new and
innovative ideas and keeps up with the latest technology and trends in the Landscaping
industry.

Designer/Estimator Emily Habib is new to the Verdant team, having recently completed a career
transition. She brings 20+ years of experience as a Project Manager, having worked for the
County of Ventura as a Land Use Planner, for AT & T Wireless Services doing site development,
and for the City of Simi Valley running the Neighborhood Council Program. During this time,
Emily studied landscape design and ornamental horticulture at Ventura College, and worked for
Armstrong Garden Centers as a landscape designer. She is also in the process of becoming a
certified Master Gardener.
Her approach to design is to, first and foremost, listen to what the customer wants and then use
her knowledge and experience to create a relaxing, tranquil oasis that will give them years of
pleasure and relaxation.

Paul Huynh is the Office Manager and book keeper. He also contributed to designing the web site.
Paul has been working with Verdant Landscaping for almost a year. His responsibilities include
paying bills, creating contracts, and financial assistance.
